Rachelle Moore: This gallery presents portrait-masks in two different sizes or dimensions. Viewers can see several masks all at once and in a sequence that tells a story. The smaller masks represent the story at a "safe" distance. Viewers can interrupt the story by clicking on a mask and pausing for a moment to view a larger or expanded size of the mask. This act removes them from the safe distance of the story or the image and places them in an emotional or subjective relationship with both the story and the image. The juxtapostioning of the various mask images I call ALTERNATE DIMENSIONS.
